My Grandmother, Rachel Quinlan was born in Lapreau. Entire family moved to Stillwater, Minnesota prior to 1900. I visited Lapreau in 1987 and met an elderly retired postmistress who remembered the Quinlan House, not there in 1986. Apparently the house name stuck even after the family moved.

Trying to find a map of Lepreau with the districts and Sub-districts to locate where they may have lived at that time. District was 175 and Sub-district was B. Would appreciate any help. Thanks

Hello.

I am looking for anyone who is descended from Gideon Knight Hanson (b.1835) I'm trying to find photos of his family, and, well, actually any and all information that anyone up there might have.

I just purchased the book "An Eye to the Future - A History of Pocologan, New River, Lepreau and Little Lepreau" and it sounds like there are still some Hanson or Lomax folks in the area that would have pictures.

Thanks so much!
Marilyn down in the States

I used the web for family history for several years but not recently.
Have located Boyne family in 1871 NB Lepreau census but not farther back or in Ireland.
Cloney family history to 1822 arrival in NB, but not to Ireland records.
No luck on Mooney or O'Neill than grave stones.
