The Iglar family were originally from the Oakdale/Rennerdale and are known for their musical abilities...stemming from days gone by as the fiddlers...to the present Dave Iglar Band, as a guitar wizard...and his daughter Andrea on the sax...they reside in Noblestown to this day.

My mother is Ida Tenor, nee Ida Norma Browarsky. She lived on East Lincoln Avenue from about 1915 until leaving in 1933. Her father was Simon Browarsky and her mother was Hannah Browarsky. Her father ran Simon's, a small grocery attached to the house. Her brothers were Barry and Ben and her sisters were Julia and Minnie. Minnie married Joe Harris who took over the store in the 1940s. Ben was killed in the closing days of World War II and received the purple heart. The Browarsky's were active in the Jewish community and were early supporters of Zionism back to the 1920s. Ida is living at an assisted living center near Philadelphia and looks forward to her 100th birthday on April 22, 2010. I am Randall Tenor, Ida's son. Ida has a daughter Joy, and her late husbannd was Attorney Theodore A. Tenor of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania who died in 1990. They had been married 57 years.
