I HAVE JUST BEEN LOOKING OUT OF INTEREST, I AM LOOKING FOR MORE OF MY MOTHERS FAMILY. SHE WAS BORN IN HINTON ST MARY, IN 1896 MY GRAND DAD WAS A PERCY AND GRAND MOTHER A WARR,I AM OK ON THE WARR FAMILY, BUT THE PERCY'S ARE MORE DIFFICLE, ALSO I AM JUST TRYING TO FIND LINKS BACK TO THE FOX DETAILS THIS IS MORE HARDER AS THEY CAME FROM ALL OVER, INCLUDING CANADA.CARRY ON WITH YOUR GOOD WORK.

Hi under 1789 baptisms for studland you have susannah Harris daughter of John Harris/Elizabeth
born 17 june 1791 obviously she wasn't baptized before she was born, she is related to me and am trying to confirm her christening and birth dates
any help is much appreciated .If 1789 is a mistake which year is it? Thanks Mike

I am a direct descendant of the Churchill family, William (1782) & Elizabeth originally from Wareham, had 12 children baptised at corfe and 99.9% of Churchills from this area can trace their ancestry back to one of these 12 children.
I have been researching the women/wives and the OPC's are invaluable to someone who lives in Cheshire researching Isle of Purbeck families.....thanks so much to all concerned.x

I have enjoyed a good hour looking at your site, you have done a wonderful job.

My interests are with the Haywards around Shroton, Orchard etc.,
I do however check out most of the sites for Dorset especially when they have a personal site, once again thanks to you and if possible to all your colleagues for the Dorset site.

If anyone comes across details of a JOHN HINTON who married ALICE BURGESS at Corfe Castle in 1748 I would be so pleased to here from you. A RICHARD HINTON from Corsley, Wilts. married a MARY BUSH in 1774 also at Corfe but returned to North Somerset (Rode). Is there a link between JOHN and RICHARD perhaps ?

This is a brilliant site. Found a lot of useful infomation. l loved the old photos....and l was in Studland this week....and it doesn't seem to change. l think the Talbot and Chippe families that l was looking for have moved on!
