Oops, sorry Bill, I meant my ggmother was Elizabeth Beavers, fingers on the wrong keys. Also, my gfather's mother was a Henry...supposedly of the Patrick Henry family, married one of his sons.
Minthy? Raburn was my gmother on my mother's side. Her father, or gfather was Governor of Georgia.

My ggfather was Light Heckelman Wilmoth,ggmother was Elizather Beaver/s, gmother Savannah Elizabeth Wilmoth Spake.My gfather was Samuel George Spake. My father was Hugh Robert Spake, mother was Oris Otley Rainey.
Light Wilmoth was in Phillip's Legion during the Civil War. Don't know much about any of the family,esp. Rainey. I would love to hear from anyone with information on any of them

I just completed my family history and and a part of it was the Dees Family of Tippah County. I have been to the Dees cemetery where Lorenzo and George are buried and to Camp Ground where by great great grand father is buried . I didn't see his sister's, Bett's grave . I have a picture of Mark Dees and his wife Rebecca Jane Brooks Dees . They are both buried at Camp Ground Methodist Church Cemetery . He was in Company E 32nd Mississippi Infantry and was wounded at the Battle of Peach Tree Creek in the Atlanta Campagine . Lornezo was captured at the Battle of Franklin, Tennessee .I have information on the Dees family going back to North Carolina in this country and also to Scotland . I also have a picture of the old Dee's home place and Mark's application muster rolls, pension applications as well as Rebecca's .

My husband's family is from Alabama, and I am looking for a connection, to help complete his family tree. His great-great grandfather's name was Joseph Lemuel Edge, and he was born in 1855, I do not know where though. He did pass away in 1925. If you have any information, please let me know. Thanks!

Just saw your Web site and wanted to say that you've done a wonderful job! I have been in contact with you before concerning the Pannell family. You sent me some pictures of my grandmother Gracie Viola Pannell Mask's family (Henry & Estelle Newby Pannell).
We went to Aunt Essie's birthday dinner a few weeks ago. She is the only one left in Henry's family. We enjoyed the time spent with her and her family.
