I have just found your wonderful website. Sophia Oxlade who married Mark Noble in 1807 is my gt gt gt gt grandmother (I think that's right). I will be back in touch when I have properly looked through all your info, but have always thought that Buttanshaw was the name of Ann Maria Buttanshaw, not Briginshaw. Best wishes, Sue Lees

My mother was Janet Helen Oxlade, 2nd daughter of Wilfred Oxlade and (Annie) Gertrude Hatt.
Would like to see more of website i.e. photos. Wilfred's father James married Amelia Blinko in 1913 and not the person on Susan's tree.

Ann Maria Oxlade, married to William James Cooper had a daughter Mary Lydia in 1874 who married Ernest Edward Hart in 1895. Of their children , Francis 1896, Rose1897, Lily 1902, Robert 1912 and Olive 1916, Lily Adelaide Hart was my mother (married to Lelie Field Marchant).
I always understood that the name Adelaide came from some connection to that place in Australia - some relative who had gone over and worked there or something...... I would love to find out more...

Hello, I am a descendent of George Joseph Royffe. He had 5 children with Ellenor Virginia Price one of whom was Ada Jane Royffe. Ada married Lawrence Sundquist (also known as Ammenhoff)they had 3 children one of whom was Harold Frederick Royffe. Harold married Edith sarah Hoare they had 2 children one of whom was David John Royffe my father.
