Greetings,
Thank you for your website. I am doing research on my Herrington family line and am interested in resources that might provide more information about what life was like when my great grandfather was a physician there. I'm also interested in any newspaper articles about him or his family.
Could you please advise if any of the publications you offer on line might be a good resource for me. We live in Idaho and plan to visit family in Wichita Falls and Dallas this June. If we can work it into our schedule, we would like to come to Mills County and take pictures of the old family house (if possible) and the ancestor burial sites. I also understand some of my great grandfather's medical instruments were donated to the Historical Commission or a museum. Do you know anything about that?
Any tips or help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much for your efforts to preserve history.
Sincerely,
Deborah C. Davis
(grand daughter of Joshua Lawson Herrington, MD and Ella Tatum)

If y'all are interested in this type of stuff, please let me know who to e-mail the pictures and location to. I am a bit curious about it myself. Thanks, Steve
