What brought you to my site? Surfing for Jonathan Hayes
Comments:
I saw your website while surfing for additional info on Jonathan Hayes. I am originally from WA state, but have been gone since 1962. I am now retired and live in Prince George, VA. I have been trying to put together info on the HAYES/RHODES/FRYE families for some time. Would be happy to correspond.

I have been to Clinton Co., Iowa and took pictures of Jonathan's gravesite. I even found Abigail (Burton) Hayes' gravesite. If you have info you might want to share, I am willing to do the same.

No criticism - your site is great! My Hunts are associated w/Haleys & Vardamon/Vardaman in NE AL, Dickinsons in Cherokee Co., GA. I have Martins from Booneville, Tishomingo Co., MS who migrated to Wise Co., TX. Sarah Lucy Martin m. Morgan Allen Smith in Aurora, Wise Co., TX. They lived in IT (OK) where they had several children & moved to Dallas, TX where they both died in the 20's. I'm still building my website, so there's only a trifling amount of my genealogy on the 'net at this time. I'm working on it.

Comments:
Thoroughly engrossing!! I guess I am a very distant cousin somehow. I'm descended from Nathan and Anna Brown Rhodes and am working on all of their descendants among other things.I knew Fred and Kay Stiles from a couple of visits to their home in South Bay and corresponded with them for a few years. Found quite a few pictures on your site of people in my computer database. Very, very interesting !! I have some information on some of the people I found in your World Connect site which you might want and also have some conflicts in the info I have and what is in your site which we will probably want to sort out. Will be sending an e-mail one of these days to get better acquainted and find out our mutual interests.

I'd be interested in your website if you have one. http://freepages.computers.rootsweb.com/~pasher/tables.htm
Comments:
Hi Holly,

Guess we haven't signed your guest book because we've been corresponding directly by email or on the help list. I agree with Sue that your second page would/should be your start page (index.html). Your pages are easy on the eyes. That's good. It takes time to attract visitors. Have you advertised your site yet? Try sending an *announcement* to some of the RW lists for counties/areas where your ancestors appeared. Maybe other descendants are looking there too.

Now, did you understand my tables page? <grin>

Pat
