Hello. My name is Even Haugseth, Oslo, Norway. Some of my relatives settled in Grant County. One of them, Birgit Engebretsen, had a daughter Julia Halvorsen. She was born in Lien Township July 8, 1890. Her confirmation was in the Immanuel Lutheran Church 1904. Census 1930: She was married to Gustave Peterson and still lived in Lien. Can anybody help me finding out if they had any children and when and where they died? Thank you.

My husband's great-great-grandfather Iver G. Holt was born in Norway (Dec 1828), immigrated in 1849, and settled in Pelican Lake sometime around 1880. He died 29 May 1909.

His wife Mary was born in Norway in 1836 and died (probably in Pelican Lake) sometime before 1900.

How can I request help to look up obits and cemetery info? Thanks!
