Comments:	Than you for all you excellent reseach, I spent part of the summer with Betty McGehee outside Natchez up on the trace, who allowed me to spend many late nights reading all of her research and cemetary materials. My gggrandfather was Obediah Dodd Hammett who married Mary Ann Barland. I have endlessy tried to find their home Magnolia somepace between Fayette and Port Gibson. He was listed as holding many slaves in 1860.
