Ted and I were good friends in the mid 60's while on campus of OSU. I also knew Joyce and Laura. We remained close until "Uncle Sam" called. The recent tragedy at Ft. Hood reminded me again of Ted, and on a sheer hunch, I just typed in Ted Kunkle and found his autobiography and this website. I sure hope you see this, Ted, and respond.

My Father Grew up in Kunkle Ohio in the early 1900's. He often spoke of members of the Kunkle Family and I believe there was some intermarrage. My Grandfather Albert Greek owned one of the two general stores in Kunkle during that time. When I visited him as a child in the 1960's he still lived in town but no longer had the store.
