You,know me as a Mendenhall cousin, who helped you with your book from my love of the Oregon Trail traditions. Elvira Mendenhall, d/o Himelius & Priscilla (Coffin) Mendenhall, NC>IN followed her son, my grandfather, James Whitcomb Moore, IN>IA>OR to Oregon. I was born in Wasco County, which is known for its Cherries! Some of the cherries there were developed by the Lewellings of Oregon.
