Your 2nd great-grandmother (Emeline Elizabeth ARCHER) is the sister to my great-grandfather (George Lester ARCHER).

Just last month I located and placed flowers on his grave in Nebraska. You can check here for the details and pictures if you are interested. http://talesfromthedriversseat.blogspot.com/2009/10/more-family-found-and-still-heading.html

I found some errors and additions on your tree posting on RootsWeb.

Mary Luella ARCHER was not married in 1866, as she was born in 1869.

Her first husband was Fred D. CHAPIN who was born about September 1855 and died December 30 1897 in Alexandria, Thayer county, Nebraska.

They had 4 children but I have records of the two that you don't, and they are.

George G. CHAPIN born abt July 12 1888 and died December 15 1897 in Alexandria. (see headstone picture on our blog#

Martha A. CHAPIN born abt March 12, 1896 and died January 12, 1898 in Alexandria. #see headstone picture on our blog#

Fred D Chapin died December 30 1897 in Alexandria. #see headstone picture on our blog)

George Lester ARCHER is also buried in Alexandra.

I also have newspaper clippings of the deaths and burials that I have scanned if you would like them.

Please feel free to use the pictures but with credit to "Richard and Jacqueline DRIVER"

This is amazing and why has it not come out to the public? If this is correct and it appears you have researched very thoroughly then as much as it pains me to say, our President should not have been elected. I do not agree with most of his views, although some of his ideas could be very good if presented in a different format. This is so scary of why a background check evidently was not done.

My dad did A LOT of genealogy research on his family before he did. We always knew the link to Sherman but I don't know the exact trail, although my dad did. His name was Royal Vincil Williams, Jr and he was from Versailles, MO. Do you know anything about this side of the family?

My mom still has all of my dad's research. He died 2 years ago.

Is there a generation missing between John [1724, 1727, 1729] and Thomas Buchanan? Most family trees give John's father as William Alexander son of Thomas Buchanan. Thank you. I'm most interested in this particular family line as I may be a direct descendant.
